Superb! I am deeply grateful for what the Summer Tour has provided for the girls. They will take away wonderful memories, a deeper pride in their heritage, and a greater sense of whom they are. We appreciate the financial help as well for we could never all done this on our own.

The purpose of the Heritage Tour for American families with children adopted from China is to enhance the adopted child's understanding of China, its people, culture, and customs through first-hand experiences to encourage the child's interest in learning the Chinese language and to promote the development of Chinese and American friendships.

The Chinese Overseas Exchange Association has great respect for the generosity and kindness of the American parents who have welcomed a Chinese child into their families. In appreciation, the Association is very pleased to be able to offer both its support and its sponsorship to the Heritage Tour Program.
China Heritage Tours 2011 are accepting participants' applications now! There are three venues to choose from, all start on July 3 and end on July 14. Our tours cost you less than any other tours you can find due to the generous support from OCEA.
Language Immersion and Culture Camp in Shanghai immediately follows the tours, July 14 to 23. It will provide both children and parents an opportunity to learn Chinese language and culture by getting closer to the lives of ordinary people in China. Free for the children! Parents only pay for the boarding and meals. Lessons and activities are free to parents, too!
